I love working with wool, the feel of it in my hands is very comforting and relaxing. I also love trying new projects, this is why the blog was started. I'm married to a wonderful guy for 30 years. Yes I was a child bride! We have 3 wonderful children, Erin, Gabrielle and Jimmy. Also a cat named Lily, more Queen Lily as she rules the house.

Fun time Fair

Hello all,
Sunday afternoon here, kind of rainy but the sun is trying to peak out. So I am sitting here watching the movie Avatar. It is a great movie, but very sad. I mean the meaning behind it is great, but to get there it is sad. Did I make sense? It is one that I will watch again.
So last weekend I did a craft fair. Was located down in Stonington, CT. Right next door to Mystic Seaport. Absolutely beautiful there. My sister and her girlfriend put the show on. Was a blast two other sister displayed there talents also. Unfortunately the people did not come. It had rained and was wet and damp. So we figure people did not want to come out, also it was the area first one. Here is a picture of me setting up.
Have not worked on my WCQ in a while. So maybe today I can get to this and show you some new work. Lets hope?????
Have a wonderful Sunday everyone, no matter what the weather gives us!
Sandy

Hi Sandy Don't you hate it when that happens. I see a Santa hanging on the left side of the picture. Is that a Rocking Chair Stitches pattern. :-)

Yes it is, this is one of yours??? How exciting to know you from blog land. Yes I bought this kit and another not sure if it is yours will look it up and give you kudoo's. It is a fantastic and easy pattern to follow. I bought it up at Colonial Village when it was a store. I loved going up there at least twice a year and returning with lots of material and some patterns. Wish I could find another spot like them.

I am your neighbor, Pascoag. Don't fall over now lol! Maybe you could share with me the place you pick up wool. Ever since Colonial Crafts closed I am not having any luck with finding good material. I looked on your site and couldn't find the wool. I go to rmmmage sales and whatnots, but I want some good peices for tablerunners. Be well!
